A corner of Mexico in Ojai. Antonio's has been an Ojai institution for 40 years, but had fallen on dim times in recent years, as its namesake founder gradually backed away. Now it has a new owner, Nick Moller, who had the smarts to leave the ambience unchanged (sleepy Mexican funk, nothing plastic or fast-food here), upgrade the food, stiffen the drinks, and re-invite the locals who grew up at Antonio's. Very Ojai!
