So yummy! So friendly! So happy!

We loved the flavor options...allowed us to create unique cakes at affordable prices. We got rave reviews of the delicious cake at our wedding...our careless caterer gave all the left over cake to the hired help and my family got NONE! Being busy at the reception made it hard to get a bite of cake so we will have to treat ourselves to another Skiff cake soon.

• Cons: didn't deliver to LA

So good!

I loved my wedding cake from Skiffs. I'm still getting compliments on how tasty it was. They are definitely the right bakery to go with. The ONLY complaint is that the cake had a few areas where something touched the frosting but I don't even know if that something that happened after the cake was delivered- so it very well might be a guest who just couldn't wait to taste it!

Great place for wedding cakes

Skiffs is special because they ONLY do specialty cakes.They did our wedding on June 27th,2009 and people are still talking about how wonderful our cake was,the red velvet with the creamcheese frosting out of this world.People said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had.Using Skiffs was one of the best choices we made.

We had a smaller wedding,about 55 people.Skiff did a smaller 3 tier wedding cake.The cake was set up beautifully and Skiff was very professional,had no worries.Thank-you Skiff have already refferred you to friends,you're the best.

So RUDE.... I was left in tears

So so so very RUDE! We are having a smaller wedding (120 people) and plan on also serving homemade desserts and in turn asked for a smaller wedding cake. 2 tiers and with elaborate fondant decoration. I also was planing on ordering a grooms cake that would have been for 120 people. Not a tiny order, but I understand not huge.

I was told that they are "too busy" and "too popular" to "fill our ovens and racks with dinky fake wedding cakes and sheet cakes." Also I was told that since we were not ordering at least a "real wedding cake" they would not deliver it. Again flatly told "we're too busy for this". I decided to use another vendor. Who was lovely, respectful, and polite.

Top Notch Cakes

This place is great. Consistantly wonderful and impressive. They can make a cake for any occasion. If you are going to eat, make it the best. They're real pros.
