Interesting salad. Had a burger- which was pretty good. Could have used more flavor in my opinion- french fries were BLAH! Typical frozen- deep fried. Salad was interesting- actually enjoyed the symplicity of it. Also- know it is a pub, but from where I was sitting, I could see dust sitting on the walls- where there were trains sitting. Saw tracks in above- in really cool ceiling...but no trains running. Perhaps cutting back- and saving money by not running them? Service was good- and dessert was yummy (brownie sundae- w/ice cream- did not disappoint)!…
Steak, drinks and toy trains.. Tumulty's has been a feature of downtown New Brunswick for many years now. It's a reliable pub to meet up with friends after work or class to have a beer and a nice juicy Prime Rib (your choice of 3 sizes). Also try their "salad" which is a 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce with your choice of dressing. A major downside is the lack of a non smoking section. The owner and the staff are very friendly which makes up for the service being a tad bit slow. There are also antique model trains that run above your head while you're enjoying your meal. If you're looking for classic pub grub this is the place to go.…
