Look for other water sources!. I woudl recommend you STAY AWAY!!! This store has a terrible perspective on customer service. My fiance' has had established a delivery account with them 3 years ago in her name. Unfortunately, no deliveries were ever made and with no explanation why. Upon contacting them, we were advised due to delivery charges that I would be cheaper for us to pick up water directly at the store. Because of my fiance's work schedule I have been the primary person to pick up water. The first time I attempted to pick up water, I was told it would be something like $17.00 for 10 gallons. Even though we brought in our own bottles (purchased at the store). After a conversation with the attendant, we were only charged $4.80 for the two 5-gallon bottles. Going forward every few months (there are only two of us using the supply), I would go for refills. Several times during this period over the last 3 years, had to remind the attendant (not always the same person....one even admitted to me that he didn't know what he was doing) that we had an account, and then we'd be charged the $4.80. Today, I attempted to refill our bottles, and the attendant was prepared to charge me well over that amount. When I pointed out that it had always been $4.80, he said it could not be. I pointed out our 'delivery account' to which he then said it (apparently their 'program') didn't work that way. I pointed out that it had indeed worked that way for the 3 years I've been picking water up at this store. Then he verified that we did indeed have a delivery account and asked if we wanted delivery. I pointed out that she had the account for over 3 years and no deliveries had ever been made. I pointed out that I had experienced this process repeatedly to which he replied 'I highly doubt that!". I don't like to be called a liar and I damned sure won't pay someone for the privilege of doing so and stated so, especially in front of his other unfortunate customers witnessing the discussion. He did give me the $4.80 charge, but said that it they didn't operate on a 'pay as you go' basis, rather that they require a relatively large pre-paid balance (to use our money in the meantime) which had never been conveyed to us before. I asked him if he had a written outline of the program that I might discuss with my fianc' he relied 'No, and I don't have time for this'. I must say, for a business so dependent on customer service it is shocking that no customer service has ever been taught in this business. I highly recommend that people find another source for their water until this business changes hands.
BEST WATER AROUND!. Went in to buy the whole kit and kaboodle (crock, stand, bottles) Staff was friendly and helpful. I was asked by 2 different employees if I needed help while I was trying to decide on a style. When we lived in Ventura years ago we LOVED it and decided to go back even though we live in the east county now. Water is the best tasting and easy to use. If you can't go during business hours they have machines outside. Just a word of caution it can be VERY busy on the weekends. But what does that tell you? They must have the best water around.
Bad customer service.
I have been purchasing water at this store for about a year now and can not recall a positive customer service experience in the 25 plus times I have done so. The employees act as if they were court ordered to work there as they are as helpful as a window screen keeping the air outside. It seems that they are always on the phone with personal calls and on one occurrence, they completely ignored the fact that I was standing at the register waiting to pay. If I did not speak up and ask for them to process my transaction, I would have waited until they were done with their personal conversation. I was in the store today and the employee had TWO cell phones at the ready but he was too busy talking on a third phone which I assume was the business line.
There was one time that they did not have water to purchase as they were apparently having equipment issues. When a customer asked when he thought water would be available, the employee simply stated "I don't know" and then walked away, sat down and looked at us as if we were an inconvenience to him.
I continue to use this store out of the convenience of its location and competitive pricing but would not recommend it to family or friends due to the potential of them having a bad experience.
Worst service at times.
The sevice at this store has gotten out of hand , Somw employies re down right rude, and the store seems to always be running out of water . I have been there 5 times and the last 2 times I hade to go back as they dont have water to sell.
