These jokers bashing Fred and Mark are INSANE! This is absolutly the BEST machine shop I have ever dealt with. Freds work is awesome.

They built me a 340 for my Challenger putting out over 400 horse. People at car shows have commented "nice sounding 440".

My recent project was a 383 in a 69 Charger. Bitner machined it for a 440 crank, used Chevy connecting rods, and custom pistons. This motor put out 520 horse with amazingly 500 ft lbs of torque! When I start it up...gentlemen "start your engines"! This engine got up to 170 mph with plenty more to spare.

I would highly recommend Bitner Automotive. You get what you pay for! And after you visit Fred make sure you get Denny at Mufflex to install an awesome exhaust system.

I've been a customer for over 40 years(1970)

Have spent over 200,000 + dollars in repairs on Business and personal Vehicles and have NOT HAD a Complaint.

This is the Garage where you go and its fixed the first time.

Stay away from Fred and his son. They ripped me off $40,000+. That's right over $40,000. Stay away !!

Great place, friendly staff & excellent workmanship. Just got some more machine work for an engine i'm building. Things were clean and ready for assembly. It went together smoothly & everything i wanted was done to my liking.

What a joke. Don't go here. I went to Bitner automotive for machining services. They mixed up my parts and broke one of them, then Fred said it was no big deal and ok to use the broken part. WTF??

Any good machinist knows that certain mechanical components cannot be mixed up.

These idiots are pretty far from meticulous and are not dedicated to details or pride in precision work.

I would have been better off taking my parts to a lawn mower repair shop.

Stay away. I brought an engine to Bitner Automotive to to get standard machine work for a rebuild. Fred Bitner gave me an estimate of $1,950 which is high, but I excepted it. When I went to pick up the engine he gave me a bill for $3,600. There was no communication about the increase. He did not do additional work from the estimate. He just increased all his cost. He would not release my engine without full payment. Fred is a thief stay away from Bitner Automotive.
