do NOT Shop here! They have defective merchandise and lie about warranties. I am still waiting for my repair and I now have to deal with the company. When i asked about what happened, I was asked to leave the store. What a joke. I checked them out on BBB NJ and F rating. Not a surprise. Contacted the OC chamber of Commerce to get help with te lies they told me. In the mean time, my advice do not waste your time or your money!!!
Worst store EVER!!!!!!!!!! Bought a necklace there a year ago. It broke the same exact day. Tried to return it but they would not let me. They said it was my fault it broke. They took it to send to the repair guy to look at it. It has been a year (we have been in dispute with the company). Today I went in to get my necklace back and was told that they did NOT have it and the repair guy would call me on Wednesday. I just want my broken necklace back that they have had for a YEAR!!!!
This store is just a disaster! i have no idea wtf is the management of this store is doing, but all jewelry they sell are made out of crap.
I bought holy yahi necklace and it broke the same day, great job, the worst freaking store. I didnt save a receipt, so when i returned the next day with a stupid necklace back (which was in their box) , they said that there was nothing they could do, even if they remembered me. i am very upset and want my money back; it was about $80
Actually my favorite jewlery store – A lot of people say the employees are very pushy, but honestly they don't seem terrible to me. Yes, they ask often if you want help, but they work off of commission...they do need to earn a living. However, the ladies I met didn't force me into trying or buying anything - and I'm a young girl, so probably a typically "easy" target. I've seen some of the jewelry elsewhere for similar prices, but there is probably some 'boardwalk' mark-up. I found my two favorite jewelry designers (holly yashi and shari dixon) at this store. Also, I can be very indecisive - the sales associates I have worked with have been incredibly patient with my trying things multiple times or taking a long while to choose. I've bought a few pieces for myself and friends from this store over the years, and I've never had an issue. The jewelry has held up perfectly (so thanks to Holly Yashi ans Shari Dixon) and I know I will be back next summer.
The only one thing I know for sure: I will never come back! – After visiting this store, I was curious what people really think of this it and when I saw such bad reviews I wasn't surprised at all.
Sales Assistants are indeed very pushy and very mean towards each other and customers. I felt very pressured, so I left after a sales girl made me try a ring on.
All jewelry are very cheap-looking and I really doubt about a fair pricing at this store.
Only thing worse than the jewelry is the customer service – A pushy sales associate ensured me the stone in a ring I was interested in would be secure in the setting. I purchased the ring and the stone fell out days later. I had to call about 5 times over several weeks before someone finally called me back. I returned the ring and the stone was GLUED back in only to fall out the very next time I wore it. Now the stone is lost and the owner has yet to call me back to respond to my request for a refund. This has been going on for MONTHS now. I finally had to dispute this with my credit card company and jump through hoops to get my money back. I hope it works. NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE.
THIS JEWELRY HAS THE WORST MANAGERS AND OWNER – July 4th weekend, my wife purchased a bracelet from the Terry Ivory Stone Harbor store. Within 2 hours a stone fell out of the bracelet, was taken back to the store and we waited at least two weeks to get the bracelet back. In the second week of October, a stone fell out again and was lost, taken back again to the stone harbor store. The manager Jeff was supposed to call within the next two weeks, my wife called Jeff 3 times with no return phone calls. Jeff absolutely is the worst for follow up and customer service. We returned this past weekend, November 5th, told Jeff my wife was coming to the store, and he would do absolutely nothing to help her in any way. He told her the bracelet was at the Ocean City Store, where my wife called, again, got no satisfaction. We wanted our money back, Terry Ivory refuses to refund the money, has now told us the bracelet is not repairable, but they would sell my wife another piece of jewelry at 50% off. The worst people to deal with in managers, the owner will not call, their jewelry is overpriced junk. We will never buy jewelry from this horrible business ever again. Do yourself a favor and don
I was tired of shopping there 5 min after I entered ... – ... the store. They expended since last year, and moved next door. But still I noticed a horrible service which includes FOLLOWING CUSTOMERS, OVERPRICED TRASHY JEWELRY, and NASTY MANAGERS.
Oh yes, do yourself a favor, do not buy those ankle bracelets with crystals - they will break in no time and the store will never give you money back.
Staff will ask you if you need help about 27 times while you are in a store, so be very patient!!! I bet they work for a commission, that is why they are so annoying...
I also saw a woman who tried earrings on! EW!!! That was disgusting and forbidden by law and a manager, instead of asking her to take these earrings off, was like, Yeah, that looks pretty. If there is one word to describe this shop it would be NASTY
Terrible! – If you want salespeople following you all around and reaching into your wallet, this is the place! If you want crap merchandise that they refuse to fix or exchange when it breaks -- look no further!
Infected earrings! Please, be careful with your purchse! – Hello!
I first found out about this store about a year ago when I was in OC, NJ with my family. Honestly, I was very surprised when I saw the prices. Everything is just way too expensive for a store on a boardwalk. I could understand if quality of jewelry would be great, but everything is half broken there. However, I bought earrings for my daughter and her friend. A couple of days later my daughter said that her ears hurt and I saw that they were infected. The only one reason it could happen was because of earring I bought for her at this store. Later I found out that my daughter's friend had a problem too. When I called the store a very young lady said that it is a final sale, no refunds.
All right, I understand that it is a final sale but why on earth the store would sell infected jewelry to frustrate its customers?
I will never go to this store again because I care about my daughter's and my own health.
