Excellent teachers, and resonable rates!

I've taken my children to the Guitar Guild for a few years now and was impressed right from the begining. My son has been to another teacher from Maple Shade who seemed to make him feel like he couldn't participate or offer suggestions as to what he'd like to learn. So of course he never practiced and eventually quit. We tried the Guitar Guild and my son immediatly took to his new teacher. He's friendly to our whole family and keeps an open dialouge with us as to how my son is doing and what he needs to work on. We really appreciated that. My son has been there now for 3 years and has no plans to stop any time soon. He's practicing more and actually looks forward to his lesson each week.
My daughter began voice lessons there about a year ago and we are all noticing a huge difference! My daughter is naturally very insecure and shy but loves to sing. In just one year her teacher was getting her to breath properly, sing properly, act out her songs, and helped her get over her stage fright! The biggest reward came when her voice teacher took a few lessons to really prepare her for auditions and just last month, my daughter went on her first auditions for a singing contest and she placed 4th runner up!
If you are looking for a friendly, comfortable music studio and well educated professionals to teach yourself or someone you know, I would strongly recommend the Guitar Guild. I believe they teach all instruments and singing and acting.
- Pros: lessons seem to be tailored to each student's needs
- Cons: Dogs(very gentle & sweet)in the big front entrance room
