Dirty, underdelivered, yuck!

arrived for dinner after raving to my boyfriend. sat us at a dirty table with dirty chairs. my seat had oil on it and it got all over my jeans and shirt. I then cleaned it off and my shoe slipped on it. I asked to be moved and then the manger came over and said kids had sat there before us and it was grapes!!! Well I have oil all over me and my clothes and its not from grapes! Didnt offer a drink or im sorry! This place is dirty and the food is not up to par. stuffed shrimp were miniature and slathered like butted with crab meat. Steak was fatty and not cooked to our specifications. Our waitress greeted us and never came back! We had our food brought out by someones else who then came back 30 minutes later and said she would be taking over our table, hmmm I guess it was too late to ask for more sour creme since we were finished dinner!..never again, so disappointed. Washing my clothes now too see if the oil comes out:(

Stay away from the Library 2

Dirty, dirty, dirty! Rude help, over priced.

I came in at 10:30 and i got dirty looks from the staff, and was hurried out. I think the manager had somewhere else she rather be at. I was told the place was open till 12:00am.

Next time I will stay in the city for dinner.

Expensive, but excellent

This place is what an upscale steakhouse is supposed to be. Great ambiance...perfect for a romantic dinner. The steaks are cut to order by an experienced butcher. The salad bar is expansive and always well-stocked. I have eaten here many times over the past couple decades and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is quite expensive compared to the other restaurants in the area, but if you have the cash it is quite worth it.

• Pros: Huge, hand-cut steaks. Awesome salad bar. Great romantic ambiance.
• Cons: Very expensive
