Topo's
by Tybolt at Citysearch
I grew up a block away from Topo's, Gino taught me how to make a pizza when I was ten. I'm in town for a few days and I'm going to see John there today. I'm so happy that Topo's is still there, I love the pizza there, and John is a great guy. I have a lot of great memories of that little store, John should sell t shirts like they did in the 70's. Anyhooo go bye see John the food is great, tell him Cip said hi.

Yes, the owners named their restaurant after the famous Ed Sullivan Topo Gigio. But it's not just that memory that makes Topo Gigio stand out from the rest of the umpteen pizza joints that dot the landscape in South Jersey. These guys know what they're doing. They've been serving the best pizza and cheesesteaks in South Jersey since I was a child and that's several decades ago.
It was our pre-adolescent gathering place. It was the place our parents chose for Friday night take out, and it's the place I choose now. All the food is fresh and made with love, and even better-it's inexpensive and plentiful.
- Pros: Fast Service, Fresh Food, Inexpensive
- Cons: Small, Limited Parking
