Great Flooring Store!.
I’m not usually the type that writes these things, but I had such a good experience with Barton’s Carpets I just had to share it.
In our search for laminate flooring for our basement, my husband & I had visited no less than 6 carpet stores in the area when we went to Barton’s. We were greeted by a very upbeat (but in no way “pushy”) salesman, John. He was not only extremely helpful but amazingly respectful, referring to my husband and I as “sir” and “ma’am” throughout the whole process.
Once we decided on the flooring we wanted, John arranged for the installation a few days later. We received a phone call from the warehouse manager on the morning of our scheduled installation letting us know that the installers were on their way. Once Joe and his assistant arrived, they got straight to work. Joe was also very helpful in answering any and all of our questions, and he also referred to us as “sir” and “ma’am” all day. Once the floor was put down, it looked so flawless you would need a microscope to find any seams! Joe put the room back together, gave us a few pointers on cleaning the floor and even gave us a bottle of cleaner to try out.
Even after all was said and done, our salesman John called us to make sure we were happy with the product and the installation.
We will soon need to replace the carpet in our family room and we’ll be going straight to Barton’s!

Highly recommend. I not only got a great deal on carpeting from Barton’s, but our saleswoman, Carolyn, really knows her stuff and was so accommodating through the whole process. And when the installers came to put the carpet in, they moved my Christmas tree (twice) so carefully I didn’t lose one ornament! Now that’s customer service!!…
Letter of Recommendation.
I contracted Barton Carpets to replace the hardwood floors at my home after they suffered water damage. The owner, John Barton, went himself to my house to take the measures, provided a competitive
quote and a reasonable finance plan. John spoke highly about his installers, to which honestly I did not pay much attention to at that time. They ordered the material and called me to set a convenient date to start the work. On the day they were supposed to start (Thursday), Endrigo (Barton’s installer) showed up at 7:30AM and introduced himself in a courteous way. I explained to Endrigo that I was leaving on vacation on Saturday morning so I needed for him to finish by Friday.
Endrigo started his work right away. I was amazed that even during demolition Endrigo was constantly cleaning the area and by noon the demolition process was over. To my surprise he managed to keep the house relatively clean. Endrigo worked through lunch non-stop until 9pm. At the endo of that day the first floor was 98% done and they started demolition on the second floor. The second day Endrigo showed up again at 7:30 am (how many vendors do you know that start this early ?) and started right away. I saw him working through lunch again, offered sandwiches but all he ate was a banana while working. By 9pm the work was 98% complete, and he would have finished it but there was some more material that needed to be ordered. At 9PM I saw Endrigo cleaning and positioning the furniture where it was, I could not believe it. They left on Friday around 10PM and they did an awesome job, beautiful floors perfectly installed, he even provided advice about how to clean the floor.
I highly recommend him and Barton Carpets for any future project you may have.

In reguards to Phillies Fan 1981 review....... The subcontractor who came to your home has been working for us for over 7 years, and we have had no previous problems with him. Your carpet was installed on a Monday & Tuesday and we didn't not receive a phone call about the alleged missing items until Saturday. And with no witnesses seeing him take the items, we can not blame them without evidence.We are sorry if this actually happened, but we have questioned our installer who states he did not take the items, and we have no reason to not believe him. Barton carpets is a very respectable company that strives for excellence in service and in our installers, who are equally proffesional & honest.…
Missing Items.
I would tell anyone looking for carpet to stay away from Barton's. My experience with Mr. Barton (owner) and the sales representative was very positive, however the instillation process was a
nightmare. Barton's sub contracts for their installation (as many companies do) and to make a long story short when the installers left my house I noticed that valuable gold jewelry was missing. Upon noticing that the items were missing, I immediately filed a police report and filed a lawsuit against Barton Carpets.
A few days ago I went to civil court against Barton's. Mr. Barton himself didn't show up to court nor did any of the installers that worked at my house during the installation. The judge dismissed our case due to the fact that there was no one that actually witnessed one of the installers in the act of taking the items. From the time the installers left my house, to the time I noticed the jewelry missing, no one else was in my house besides my wife and I. Though nothing was proven in court and our case was dismissed, again I want that to be clear, I believe with all my heart that the instillation people were involved. The jewelry didn't just walk away...
Please do yourself a favor, if you are in the market for carpet like we were, steer clear of Barton Carpets. When choosing any company, take the time to know exactly who is going to be in your house doing the work. Don't make the same mistake I made. There are too many other reputable places out there that do honest work and take the time to hire honest employees. I don't want your next carpet to cost you what it cost me...…
