Worst used car buying experience & customer service we've.
We previously owned a different luxury brand and we were excited to purchase from another luxury dealership, expecting a similar, if not better experence. We couldn't have been more wrong! Every
part of our "Audi Experience" has been tragic; from the sales process to the 'service'.
We scheduled our pick up a week in advance and had all of our infomation emailed to the sales person so that everything would be ready for us the day of pick up. However that was not the case. Upon the scheduled day of sale, none of our paperwork was ready for the car we were trading in or for the Audi we were purchasing. Our insurance company was not contacted, nor was the financing company for the car to be traded in, these are typically done for you at other luxury dealerships, however we were later told by Bernardsville that "is not true, no one does this". Furthermore, the Audi was not detailed, much less washed and ready for us even after the 3 hour long paperwork and phone call process. As a result of the sales process taking so long and due to it being so late at night, we were rushed out of the dealership and didn't even get to review the car on the lot.
The "Pre Owned Certified Vechile" that we had purchased, had two engine lights come on, after one day of driving off the lot. We had other cosmetic issues with the car which per 'Audi's Pre-Owned Certification' should also have been fixed prior to listing it as ''Audi's Pre-Owned Certified Vehicle', however these were not. It has been a tremendous hassel to have Audi of Bernardsville properly take care of any issues that have come up during the sale and process, and no apoligies were ever given, only an excuse or no response.
We recieved a "final" answer from Banardsville recently, which was that they didn't appreciate the Audi survey we completed (well duh, if you provide a bad experience, you're going to get a bad review - It's your job!) and that "You will never be satisified. with our service" and we were hung up on.
Well, we were ALWAYS satisified with the level of service and communication we received from LEXUS, we are very regretful to have assumed that all luxury car dealers offer the same experience. We now know that they do NOT!
