Got ombre color done by George twice and he is awesome! He really knows what he is doing and looks to give you the best possible look without doing damage to your hair. Looking forward to go back to this salon- Simply the best!

I had a very good experience at First impression studio.. Good experience at First impression. The owner George my stylist, was wonderful and really listened to what I wanted. I have long, difficult, wavy thick hair, which I wanted tame down and to color (lighter) and layered so it was not so wild. He asked me some very specific questions about what I wanted and didn't want, and my hair couldn't have turned out any better. It was hard to believe it was my own hair after he was done! I definitely would recommend friends to come here. I came with some idea of what I wanted, but give him as much leeway as you can. Because he knows what he is talking about and makes very good suggestions.

Best Ever!. George had given me a flattering hair cut every time I have seen him. He was able to do a correction cut when I was butchered by another stylist...when I went to him my hair looked horrible...but I ended up with the best hair cut ever!

SUPERB. AWESOME !! George did a very good job with my hair. I drove 2 hours to get to FIS but its worth it. I generally dont write review but I was so happy with their work which made me write this review.

I get compliments everywhere I go. The Hairstylist I used a few times seems to disappear without a word. I needed a haircut and color like yesterday. You know how that feels, but was hesitant to go somewhere new. The good thing about the internet is that you can always find reviews about a place. I read all the reviews before going to First Impression. So I decided to give them a try. I went to George the owner. He took me over to his station and asked me what I needed done. After the long consultation he did exactly as I asked for. I can tell you that George is a fantastic hairstylist and colorist. He has a great personality and really cares about his work. You can tell he is passionate about making you look good. My hair is so much easier to style now and I just love the way it looks and feel. So, if you need an awesome Hairstylist go to First Impression Studio and ask for George. You will not regret it,

The Search is Over. George and Siv are true professionals and after 6 years of searching for the perfect salon after migrating to NJ from NY, I am elated. My haircut fits my face and my lifestyle and the color and highlights make my hair look like I am 20 years old again (I am 47). I can't wait to try the skin products and look as young as Siv does. If you are tired of the way most places that call themselves salons do business, (promise the world and give you an 80's style cut with color that turns your hair to brillo so they need to up-sell you on a million products that don't work) then see George and Siv and leave the stress behind. I know that I can consistently look my very best and I just don't have to worry anymore.

Fantastic Service. The salon provides a relaxing atmosphere by offering their clients a gown and beverage upon arrival. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about different products that are suitable for your hair and skin type. I recommend booking George for your haircuts, especially if this is your first time here. He has a ton of experience under his belt and knows what type of style looks best .you would also have the OPTION of having them add some kind of serum that makes your hair feel like silk (but it's totally worth it). Yes the appointments usually take about 3 hours for a cut and color, but this is not chop shop it is a salon, and if you would rather get a rush job and compromise quality, this place is definitely not for you!

Best Salon Always perfect!. I have been a client of George at First Impression Studio for little over a year now. I fell into his lap after my last stylist over booked and had to cancel an appointment on me, and I have been Georges ever since! He listens more than any stylist I’ve worked with and won’t let me leave until I’m 110% satisfied. He makes me feel beautiful and has become a true friend that I look forward to seeing at the salon. We takes time to talk through all the changes I want or think I want to make, and I’m not afraid to take risks with something new with him. I understand that hair is a tricky thing and achieving a certain look is not always possible, but George works so much harder toward perfection than any other stylist I’ve met. That’s important--I know that he is working hard to get me exactly what I want and it’s always perfect! I honestly don’t have enough good things to say about him. Thanks Kim

Run, Don't Walk! So worth the trek.. George at First Impression Studio is everything I ever wanted in a hair stylist. He's extremely talented and works with me to find something that I may not have thought of on my own but am always super happy with. He also has a great personality and remembers even the littlest details on the last cut at our last appointment. Fun attitude and modern decor that makes stepping into their place fun and relaxing. Oh, and I love the tea/coffee bar for while I'm waiting (though I'm not usually waiting long enough to take full advantage). Suffice it to say, I love this place and both George and Siv, and have never even considered looking elsewhere, even when I moved out of town. They’re both totally worth the trek.

Totally unlike other salons. Peaceful and Relaxing !. I have to always book my appointment a week or two in advance but always worth the wait. I really love this place. I have had my hair colored / highlighted and cut multiple times with George and every time I come out of there looking and feeling great. I think the color he uses has something to do with the way my hair feels after the colorings. It is very soft and tangle free unlike other places I have gone. I also decided to try the facial with Siv on my last trip in and it was just incredible. Super relaxing and my skin was glowing and vibrant for the next week!
