They might be expensive, but they're worth it. All of the rooms are extremely luxurious, and the resort itself is full of great things including the water park. The water park alone could give any family more than enough entertainment, but Kalahari also has a gaming area, as well as several restaurants both inside the water park, and the resort itself. Going in the summer adds the bonus of the outside water park, and the adventure zone that is out there as well, which includes a zip line.

Don't go to Sandusky Kalahari. TERRIBLE CUSOTOMER SERVICE..DROVE 6 HOURS FROM KENTUCKY..3 DAYS AND 2 NIGHTS AT THIS RESORT LEFT VERY UPSET..HALF THE WATERSLIDES WERE CLOSED..PROMISES TO REOPEN WERE NOT MET BEFORE LEAVING..FITNESS ROOM WAS CLOSED FOR REMODELING. THE GAME ROOM WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING A DUCT TAPE CARPET JOB YOU HAD TO WALK THROUGH TO GET TO THE PARK..EARLY OPENING TO THE WATER PARK OFFERED TO GUESTS OF THE HOTEL LIMITED DUE TO POOR STAFFING AT THE WATER PARK. HAD TO COMPLAIN TO THE WATER PARK STAFFING MANAGER AFTER AN EMPOLOYEE YELLED AT MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR NOT SLIDING A KIDDIE SLIDE SOON ENOUGH..SPENT AN HOUR COMPLAING TO SERVICE DESK AND ONE SERVICE DESK MANAGER WHO TOLD ME THE CEO JOSEF HAAS TOLD EVERYONE THAT NO FORM OF DISCOUNT OR REIMBURSEMENT WOULD BE ALLOWED. $800+ DOLLARS FOR OUR SUITE...SO MUCH FOR THIS HOTEL BEING IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.....
