We recently had an awesome stay at the Sonoma Coast Villa Inn & Spa for a weekend - there was nothing missing in making the whole picture a perfect get away. The entire grounds and interior of the Inn are very well kept - the hospitality by Innkeeper Johannes is warm and indeed remarkable - a package to be highly recommended to anyone that wishes to get away to total luxury and the beauty of the Inn. We will be back soon

I found the Sonoma Villa Inn and spa to be quiet and tranquil. I was looking for some alone time and found exactly what I wanted there.I enjoyed the proximity to the quaint old fashioned towns of Bodega and Valley Ford and the Bodega Bay Head for hiking and birding. The grounds and the spacious rooms of the Villa are superb, the breakfast was nicely laid out in the dining room every morning and the spa treatments were unique and professional. I would recommend it to anyone for any occasion and I am looking forward to going back again.

Johannes always goes out of his way to make my stay with him perfect. He has [always] taken great care to see to my every need and I simply enjoy his food and his hospitality. He's the type of person that becomes your friend when traveling and I always want to come back to stay at his hotel and more so to catch up with a true friend. I wish more hotels and resorts had people as himself to care for their guests. I always feel like a VIP when I stay at SCV and I leave feeling rested, relaxed, and perhaps not ready to return to reality.

I have stayed a couple of times at SCV and each time the Inn keeper and staff have been nothing but the best, the rooms are great, however, the suites are to die for. If I may, when I stayed in the suites I entered through a small courtyard suitable for me and my friends which also had a privacy door. My door opened to a large, spacious, and wonderfully attired room with a prepared wood burning fireplace and cozy chairs facing it. A large and comfortable bed awaited me with high thread count sheets and warm bedding. The bathroom was the place I have always dreamed about with an amazing oval jacuzzi tub that filled quickly (I hate to wait long) and positioned to allow me to watch and hear the wood fireplace (also had a shower). I felt like I stepped into a parallel universe where everything was perfect! The entire place was clean, neat, and most of: comfortable. It reminded me of staying in an upscale room at Estes Park, CO - I love the Rockies and I so I also felt really at home here.

The inkeeper, Johannes, is Austrian by birth, and has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry. He is a very "hands on" inkeeper, and obviously cares very much about his business. We had him arrange wine tours, suggest area itineraries, and book spa services. We found him extremely accomodating, and everything was quite well handled. He was also a most capable chef for our lovely meals on the 4 nights we had dinner at the Inn.

We stayed here for 5 nights with anothert couple. Our objective was to have a very relaxing, comfortable, stress free get away in the area, and the Sonoma Coast Villa met all those criteria and more. We were amazed at the "oasis" nature of the grounds in an otherwise rural Sonoma County countryside. Our rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and a real pleasure to return to each night, and our wives' spa experiences were great. Each morning, we were presented the most amazing array of breakfast options this side of many classic European inns where we have stayed.

Great place to relax and enjoy the one you love. One last thing, in my job, I work with water all over this county. I must say it is in my opinion that the Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa has the best water, I have ever felt. It’s like silk. Thanks Johanas Very Satisfied customers,
