The Scene – What it lacks in charm, the resort makes up for in entertainment options. Nightlife is available at many of the local pubs just down the road. Attitash's Grand Summit Hotel offers a year-round outdoor pool and massages for apres-ski relaxation. Way too icy.

The resort was OK, but it could have been much better. I found it way too icy; about half of the mountain was covered in ice. I was surpised, since the other American Skiing Company resorts I have visited were all excellent (Sunday River, Killington, Sugarloaf, Steamboat), but this one needs some work.

- Cons: Crowded, Very Icy
