Gifford's an honest guy, glad we called him. Although I will probably buy a snake and feel a bit silly for not having one, I do appreciate that they got over here fast and took care of the problem.

solved our plumbing nightmare

We had a mystery problem in our house since last summer, where the toilets would randomly make noise..mostly in the middle of the night when we were trying to sleep :( Finally got fed up and called to have it looked at, and they came out same day and figured out the issue. $40 in parts and $75 in labor later I say happily state that we arent being woken up in the middle of the night with running toilet noises..hallelujah.

Trench work

Had them dig a 30-ft trench for an underground pipe installation job. Underbid everyone else except one guy, but I always throw out the high and the low bid anyway. Came on site to do the work on a Saturday and finished same day. Satisfied with the work that was done.

sink fix job

Plumbing isn't something you look forward to getting done but when you do you need it to be done right and not get gouged. I always fear calling a plumber when I'm in a new area since it's a risk unless you've worked with them before. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes very wrong. In this case, I'm happy to report that it went well, and after calling and getting the owner himself on the phone (Gifford), he sent one of his guys out to fix the suddenly leaking toilet in our master bathroom (seal broken apparently). They quoted the work before jumping in and it came in right around what I was expecting/hoping for. Will definitely recommend them to others.
