Great Fun and Food!.
Recently found this great little diner on the internet while searching for a place half way between Knoxville & NETN/SWVA for old friends to meet Christmas Eve.
I called to make sure they were going to be open and for directions. The owner was really helpful and enthusiastic.
Christmas Eve we arrived and had a wonderful time. The food was well prepared, and the diner itself as cute as it could be with little pigs (for their barbeque - will try the next time!) everywhere. The staff was excellent and they had several local patrons as well - definitely a good sign!!
We made a unanimous decision to come back again and bring family. So, come on down and join us!!…

My wife Pat and I stopped here on our way up to Beckley, WV on vacation from Knoxville, TN.
"Sweet Lips Diner" is everything one dreams about in a "Hole in the Wall - Type" restaurant. Great Food, Friendly Staff and Patrons, A Super Value in the cost of your meals.
We so enjoyed meeting Ashlee Shirey and her business partner Dan Wirt. Just great hosts who know how to make traveler's feel at home.
If you fail to stop and enjoy their hospitality, you've missed a real jewel of a place.
