Do Not Use This Service

Avoid using this service at all cost. I was with a handi-capt woman at the Library in town who called Modern Towing because she locked her keys in her car. The old man who came out to "help" her gave her no updates as to his progress and she waited in the entrance to the library for 2 hours. (20 min past their closing time) The library was closing so I went out to check on his progress per her request. I accidentally shifted the car into park. The Modern Towing employee in turn unleashed a barrage of profanity on me and yelled at me, telling me he has been doing this for 38 years and didn't need my help. All while holding a knife in his hand pointed at me. I would have felt threatened if this older gentlemen was in any kind of physical shape but he could barely walk let alone attack me. I returned to the older handi-capt woman and explained that I was not able to get an update for her. The employee of Modern Towing was able to get her keys but the steering wheel was locked leaving the car inoperable.

In review,

The employee was not able to provide the service he was hired for.

He was hot tempered and rude.

He did not communicate to the customer his progress/status.

A complete stranger, not Modern Towing, provided a ride home for the customer. Who lived in town only a few blocks away.

Perhaps they have other employees that are more friendly but this guy was an incompetent jerk.
