Bloody band aid - gross!. I went into Ted and Wally's for some long deserved ice cream! I hadn't been there in a while and was excited. Unfortunatly I was disgusted. The girl who helped me had a bloody band aid and was touching my cone. It was pretty gross. I ate just the ice cream but not the cone, I feel gross now. While I realize accidents happen, she should have had a glove on so that it would be an extra precaution. I think for now I'll skip Ted and Wally's and go somewhere more sanitary. How unfortunate...

whoa!~ i'm FAT. i was very satisfied!! cake batter ice cream.. cinnamon.. (take some home and try it between ego waffles). yummy!! My best friend works there, so i am bias. and for the reviews that said people were mean and didn't care, get over it cause its the cream of the crop! i wanted to fly some home with me after my visit to the home of ted and wally.

Brag Worthy!. Ted & Wally's is home to the best ice cream in Omaha! I'm in town a lot for business and always stop in to fulfill my cravings. I'm a fan of their pineapple shakes. While some employees are unfriendly, others are quite charming. One time an employee walked to the gas station to buy me bananas for a banana split. Plus they play great music. I would recommend Ted & Wally's to anyone. I even brag about their ice cream to my friends in Denver!

Awesome ice cream. This ice cream is the best. The only other way to get ice cream this good is to get out the bucket and start turning it yourself. With that being said, the staff is unfriendly and act like they got better things to do than there job. The staff has acted like this on many visits. I even had to wait one time for the staff to get off there laptop they had on one of the stores tables and I told them light choc. syrup and what do they do dump it on there and while they were pouring the syrup I said "ok thats good stop" 13 times (my wife counted) and they ignored me. The ice cream is very $$$ one large scoop with peanuts and choc syrup will run you close to six dollars. So in short they have the best ice cream, the staff could care less, and if you want the best it will cost you.

Stands up to the big boys. Old-style soda fountain located in the Historic Old Market district. Homemade ice cream that can stand up to the Ben and Jerry's of the world. they are also known to come up with some quirky offerings like Guiness ice cream or Green Tea. Always looking to go above and beyond the usual, but you can always find great standards like vanilla, chocolate, or a berry or some sort. For those lactose-haters, sorry there's no real alternative like sorbets, however you shouldn't pass up the Italian-style sodas that they offer.

Best Ice Cream Ever. With only about 13 flavors a day, it's possibly the best ice cream ever. I might be a bit biased since I used to live in Omaha but now I live in LA. Compared to big names like Fosselman's or Coldstone, I can say hands down this place is way better. Ted and Wallys makes ice cream in the mornings the old fashioned way using ice and salt. Everything is always fresh and delicious and because it is run by amazing people, they always have the most interesting flavors such as french toast and carribean shocka just to name a few. During the summer they make fruit ices. They usually run out on the same day so if you see them on the menu, you should definitely try it. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Quit your job and eat ice cream!. This place is unbelieveable! The line may be long, but energetic servers move it quickly. An array of flavors available, from plain vanilla that is as good as grandma's to an astoundingly rich and delicious concoction called something like Quitcherjobandeat Chocolate. This is the best ice cream I've ever had, and I've had a lot of ice cream!
