Spaghetti Works

I think this is a great place to visit downtown.The atmosphere is very nice. The service does sometimes lack, but I think it is due to the volume this place receives.

Neat place, so-so food and service

We love eating outside and this place has a huge street-side deck that is ideal for watching people and studying the old-fashioned buildings of the area. We were seated quickly, but service was slow and spotty after that. The garlic bread was the highlight, as the pizza was soggy and seemed "processed" rather than homemade, and the pasta was watery (not properly drained). Picky kids may not like the spaghetti sauce (which I did like) as it has a lot of little tomato pieces.

Spaghetti Works and the Old Market

This is one of the two locations in Omaha and my favorite since I can visit the Old Market as well as dine. The many variets of spaghetti are fun to sample, there's pizza, sandwiches, salads and desserts, too. Free spaghetti refills so you can't go home hungry.
- Pros: good spaghetti, salad in a car, popular
- Cons: parking can be bad, the wait can be bad
