Fargo >Juano's Mexican Restaurant
Super busy and slow.... We used to love it here, but the prices have increased and the service is beyond slow. This time it was a full 50 minutes before we recieved our food order. No extra napkins, small bowls of chips and salsa, etc. What happened??? Guess we will try a different venue next time we want to drop $50 on a saturday night.
Don't waste your time. Don't have a party here unless you want to overpay for mediocre food. Juan has no qualms about quoting you one price and then actually charging you well over double that. Also be aware that the lovely room Juan will offer you to host your party is a passthrough for anyone who happens to live upstairs in the building so people will wander through all night.
Excellent Place To Relax And Enjoy The Environment. I went there and had some of the best food in my entire life. It was a Sunday afternoon and we sat outside on the tables and drank beer before we ate. They also had a great selection of wines from different countries.
Elegant atmosphere, good drinks. Service was good. The Sangria was not traditional, but still worth a try. Food was flavorful and tasty. I was there on a Tuesday evening and the place wasn't even close to full, but we stil waited over 30 min for our meals. The best thing about this place is the location! Stop by the HoDo lounge after dinner and enjoy some jazz music!
Best Mexican food in town!. If you want tasty, fresh Mexican food, Juano's is the place to go. The restaurant is located in the flourishing downtown area so there's lots of people watching if you are lucky enough to get a booth by the window. Juano's specialties include "famous grilled vegetables," the Carnitas Dinner, the Wild Taco and the El Paso Enchilada. I love their grilled vegetables! They also have delicious homemade desserts and a full bar with nightly specials. The free chips and salsa served before the meal are made fresh right in the restaurant. The salsas are flavorful and addicting! It's a restaurant you'll want to linger at because of the low lighting and jazz music.
