The Scene
Nothing unique from the outside, inside this Italian restaurant charms with modern yet rustic decor. Walls are painted in mustard and green and accentuated with copper touches and wrought iron fixtures. Crowds fill the narrow dining area, creating a noise level that can be difficult to talk over. Service is friendly and well paced.

The Food
The menu puts a heavy emphasis on seafood and high-quality seasonal ingredients. Starters are a hit: Plump mussels are served in white wine with a light garlic flavor, and tiger shrimp spring rolls come with a maple soy dipping sauce. Entrees range from seafood specialties like lobster stew to pasta favorites including penne in vodka cream sauce with caramelized onions, pancetta and roasted red peppers. Desserts shine as bright as appetizers, including a not-overly-sweet creme brulee and selection of signature dessert drinks.
