This is one of the best local restaurants we have eaten at in a while. We were on a weekend vacation in Hendersonville, and happened upon this restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, it is one of those restaurants where they know your name. The service from prompt and attentive, especially for being so busy. The food was absolutely terrific. I recommend the fried mushrooms for an appetizer, or the house salad, it has fresh mixed greens, and lots of veggies, and the dressing is delicious. The fish and chips is wonderful, the burger was great, and the Irish potroast was delicious. We ate there on a Friday night, and again on Sunday for lunch.

With standard bar fare, the food is not the draw to this restaurant. Nights are fun if not a bit loud but good spirits and decent servicve makes it worthwhile.

This place has a great lively Irish atmosphere, and has a menu containing lots of Irish specialities, and beers from more than 20 countries. The Shepard's pie I had was just ok, but the fried appetizer plate was very good.
