Have always done my business here when I can. The family is always friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to shopping here for my kids too. They have a great selection of boots and hats for little ones. That way I know they are getting good boots, that will last.

Best Western store around. I have vistied this store SEVERAL times over the years, and have had a good experience everytime.

The owners have ALWAYS been really kind, and they seem like genuinely good people. I don't believe that the "male owner", Darrel Watson, would EVER be rude to his customers, unless of course, the customer was rude themselves.

No one MAKES another person work. Its the employees choice to stay there, IF that situation is really true. Which I'm pretty sure its not.

The store is definatley the best western apparel store in this area, and in my opinion its the best I've experienced from Boone, NC all the way to Texas!

As far as someone adjusting Darrles attitude, if he really had one, it would take a giant of a man!

awesome boot shop. first time there bought a nice pair of croc boots black and i was lookn for some at a great price and find some there, it was a great ride up and bck from boone, can't wait to go back and get another pair of boots i love my boots and they are comfortable as well as sporty, thnc watsonatta for hooking me up.

Watsonatta Western World. I went to Watsonatta to look at a Tucker endurance saddle. The staff was very friendly and Ellen was very knowledgable about the saddles and tack. The store has a very relaxed atmsophere. I ended up buying a saddle, 2 breast collars and a set of stirups. If you need a saddle or just a pair of boots at a great price (or any other western wear) go see these fine folks.

The best little Western shop in NC. I've been going to this store once a year for over 25 years. I love it. Yes, it's small and crowded. I'm a big man and I have to turn sideways to go down some isles. That does not bother me in the least. When you walk in the door, the first thing that hit's you is the aroma of leather ( one of the best smells on earth). Next is the smile and hello from owner Ellen. Although I only get a chance to visit the store about once a year, Ellen knows my face and can recite the last two boot purchases by color and model number. How cool is that .There is no way that she could be any nicer or more hospitable. Her knowledge of her boots, clothes and hats ( where they are made, how they are made, etc. ) is awesome. The prices are very fair. I've bought many boots there and I just recently put a pair on layaway while on vacation.I'm giving myself a Christmas gift :) Go check them out especially if western is your thing. Others will be impressed with the amount of inventory that this quaint shop has. I love this place. Can you tell :) The review by amilatie is so off base. Maybe the problem was her treatment of them.

Horrible Service!. My bf and I have purchased several high-priced items at Watsonatta and the service was never good. Except for a former sales associate, Jaime (who the owners made work six days a week with no lunch breaks), the people on the floor (normally one of the two owners) were very unpleasant and acted as if we were bothering them. The final straw was today when I called to ask a question, the male owner became upset with me over the phone. He yelled at me and then hung up on me. There are other places that I can purchase Lucchese Boots and other western items. I will never shop there again. Watsonatta gives small businesses a very bad name. Watsonatta needs a serious attitude adjustment.
