This traditional, Beaufort-style home is located in the historic district and dates back to 1733. It is the oldest operating bed and breakfast in town. It is a convenient base for visiting numerous sights, such as the North Carolina Maritime Museum and the Old Burying Ground. Rates vary based on season and the type of breakfast you'd like to complement your stay.

The Details
Cedar and oak trees surround the porches that grace both levels of this lovely house. The porches are adorned with plenty of hammocks and rocking chairs. The parlor is located on the lower floor, while the dining room is on the upper. The four ground-floor guest rooms are appointed in a Colonial/Federal style, with a mixture of antiques and modern amenities. Notable original features include the heart-of-pine flooring that can be found throughout the building. The free-style country garden is lavishly landscaped with blooming and non-blooming plants.
