what happen

went to the oceanic over the weekend and was very dissapointed, service was terible. Food took 1hour and thirty minutes and was wrong!! When I asked our server( who was either on something or having a really bad day) to see a manager he said if I can find one, manager gets to the table and he says that it is a busy night and the beach is packed this weekend?? We have been going to the oceanic for years and this is the worst experience to date, view is still nice.

UGH!!! The slowest place ever!!

This place barely deserves A star. The food was ok BUT the service was TERRIBLE. Our waiter was nice but so damn slow. He looked like he was a 19 year old surfer dude that could care less. We waited forever for our food while people around, who came in AFTER us, got their food ahead of us. Then when the bill came, he screwed it up twice. I am NEVER coming back!!!

Disappointing

My friend had previously eaten here, and we were prepared for an excellent experience. Unfortunately we were highly disappointed.
We called ahead as instructed and were told 45 minutes for seating. We arrived at 45 minutes and were told it would be an addition 30-45 minutes by young, snotty, and unhappy girls.(It was evident that they did not want to be working that evening by the tone of their voices, and the scowls on their faces.)
We did eventually get seated. We placed drink and appetizer orders, and asked for some bread for the table. The waitress told us that they served hush puppies instead of bread, and we told her that was fine. She NEVER did bring them.
The meal arrived slowly, and was nothing special.
The waitress was slow and disorganized. We were thinking of dessert, but it took her a very long time to bring us the menus.
It was another eternity to get a check.
Although this is a popular spot, there was much to be desired.
- Pros: The food was alright.
- Cons: Read the commentary, but mostly the service.
