PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE

We had a party of seven, 15 minute promised wait turned to 45 minutes. The wait staff was extremely rude and apathetic. Our waitress played with her hair the entire time as she was serving our food. The food was cold, the shrimp were rubber, the twice baked potato was terrible, the cole slaw was excessibly warm. Two of our party members threw up before even leaving. The place has been in business since 1948 and should have closed six decades ago.
- Pros: They had electricity and cold beer
- Cons: The food was disgusting

I would never go back to this restaurant. I was there with 4 other people and the food was absolutely disgusting. We all had seafood. Scallops were like rubber, shrimp tasted like frozen, crabcake was burned,
potato was burned. Oysters were also rubbery and the vegs. were canned. We paid $20 per person. Highway robbery. We complained to both our waitress and the manager and were only offered something else. No point in that as it was the same chef. No one seemed to care. Parking is awful too. If you don't know how to cook seafood, you shouldn't have it on your menu. We will never go there again.
- Pros: hush puppies were good
- Cons: everyhing else was disgusting and prices were high for no value

Pepper sauce was excellent. Food was okay. Service was okay.

I love their green pepper sauce. If anyone knows where to order it let me know. The food was okay and the service was okay. My wife really enjoyed her food. No one was rude to us. The place was somewhat deserted and that did make us somewhat hesitant. Parking is terrible on Wrightsville beach though.
- Pros: Good pepper sauce
- Cons: The place seemed a little dirty.
