I have been receiving facials on a regular schedule for the past 4 years in Raleigh but didn't know where to go in Wilmington until I was referred by a friend. I finally located Carol at Salon Beyond Basics & Day spa 2 months ago after relocating to Wilmington. I was very pleased with her knowledge and ability to create my facial experience based on my current needs at that time.

I am on a monthly schedule and thankful for my friend that referred me to Salon Beyond Basics!

An overall beautiful experience

Kendall started styling and coloring my hair 14 years. He took my burnt, fried, rust colored hair to a fabulous, classy, sophisticated blonde. I felt beautiful and runway ready..... But as the economy dropped, I searched for the same quality at a cheaper price. So I strayed from the rejuvenating, relaxing, friendly and talented salon of Kendal and his team. After trying several other salons and hair dressers.... Even trying it myself, my husband called Salon Beyond Basics to get me back in Kendall's chair ASAP! He was tired of my hair looking terrible and copper. If you are a blonde, then you know " copper" is not what we consider " California blonde".... LOL! So Kendall and his team took me back. Now, again, I feel as though I am a classy blonde that looks forward to my hair appointments for many reasons.....I get compliments everywhere I go! In this case, you get what you pay for! I feel beautiful, which makes me happy, which in return makes my husband happy. You must look them up! Thanks Salon Beyond Basics!

Sunny is THE BEST!

I have been a customer of Sunny Blackwelder for over a year & have referred her to several other people who love her also. She listens to our ideas of what you want your hair to look like & then gives you her input on what she thinks will look best for your face shape, eye color, skin tone & even for your age! She's awesome! She is HONEST! And if the final outcome is not what you expected, she will make sure you have EXACTLY what you wanted before you leave the Salon. She's great & is only going to get better as time goes on. You've gotta go see Sunny! She is worth every penny I pay her!
