Not worth the experience. The service and atmosphere were pleasant, however the food was no where near what I expected or even should expect for the high fine dining price tag. We took kids with us and the food was served if dining at Weight Watchers.. Small. My husband's seafood platter was miserable and very small for the $20 price tag. I don't know but when you have teenagers cooking your steak it isn't going to be done right, trust your instinct.. We saw 2 different tables near us have their orders messed up and also late.. Sorry but not acceptable, nor is the buffet as it doesn't compare to even the chain restaurants out there..

bad service. After hearing how wonderful the food was, and fueled by checking out the website, I was completely bewildered and disappointed about my visit. I must have come too early or something (5:30?) because I waited for 10 min until I figured out, no one was going to come out and greet me or take a simple drink order. I used to work in fine dining, so maybe I'm a bit pickier than most; but to not even show up at my table? Unacceptable!

Simply the best we've found in this area. We have made a golf trip to the Pinehurst area every year since 1999. The Lob Steer is one of the reasons why. Regardless of how you play at least you know the meal at the Steer will be great. If you get within 20 miles of this place don't miss the chance for the Lob Steer exprience!

the absolute best!. The prime rib was the best I've ever had, the service was warm and entertaining and the atmosphere was fine dining without the dress code. You won't want to miss this one!
