Worst Experience with a Denist. By the end I felt violated.



They quoted me one price on the phone which was totally different from what they charged me. I understand a few dollars difference but this was plus 50%.

The cleaning tech looked harried like she wasn't going to get a lunch. The cleaning was painful. All the while, I heard an older gentleman in the next room trying unsuccessfully to have a conversation about his treatment plan. He was very exasperated. The dentist came in at the end told me I had 5 cavities and they printed out a quote for over $700.

I decided to drive 5 hours to see my old family dentist for a second opinion. He was dumbfounded: first by the rates on the quote, then told me he would only be filling one tooth identified by Kouadio, and he would be filling a second tooth (a front tooth!) that was in very bad need that Kauadio hadn't even listed on the quote!

I am so glad I did not shell out that much money for 4 totally unnecessary fillings! What an awful experience, and imagine, I waited several weeks to see this guy.

(My old dentist got me in on the day I asked for 2 weeks out, no problems.)

All this said the receptionist is a ball of sunshine, what a sweetheart. Too bad she works for such an inept staff.

Don't get your dentures here. I have dentures made by this office and have not had a good experience . They do not set aside time to see emergency patients. After I received my dentures it is always necessary to have rough edges adjusted. Never have I had a smooth experience, it has always been difficult to be seen and you must wait days. Just this week, my three year old dentures which cost more that $3500, began to develop hairline cracks and when I called the office in a panic. I was told that my appointment would be three weeks away. It was only after a crying fit and several phone calls begging to be seen sooner, I was finally given an appointment five days away. This was unacceptable. I could not go to work because I could not wear my dentures in this condition, for fear they would break in half., I called another dental office in town, MAHEC Dental Clinic and they agree to see me in twenty-four hours and I wasn't even a patient. I have taken my denture business to MAHEC and I suggest everyone else does too.

In summary I would not recommend Ladent Family Dentistry to anyone.
