Buttermaid Bakery

VERY PRICEY IN COMPARISON. I actually wrote a review of their product on their website recently and gave them a high rating for the quality and taste of their nut roll. Unfortunately, I have to revise my rating because they have raised their prices to the point of being outrageous. I have found another company that makes the same kind of product for a lot less money called STRAWBERRY HILL POVITICA CO. They shape their nut rolls differently, but have the same flavor as what we used to bake at home. They do place the nutritional information on their pkgs, which Buttermaid Bakery did not do, and they make their nut rolls 2.5 lbs instead of 1.5 lbs like Buttermaid's product. I recently purchased a second order of 3 nut rolls and paid $59.95 for 7.5 lbs with free shipping. When I wanted to do the same at Buttermaid, they wanted to charge the same price for 4.5 lbs of their product. YET, Buttermaid had an eBay auction selling 1 nut roll for $29, and their website charging $32 for just one nut roll. When I contacted them about it, they responded, "sorry you feel that way (about pricing)". I am no longer buying from Buttermaid Bakery until they are able to be reasonable and competitive with their pricing policy.…
