good autoworks. I like House of Embers, I ate there twice, first time went in the evening had few drinks and appetizers, I would say it is a classy place for adults. The second time I went with few friends for a dinner - I had a steak and I liked it a lot, my friend had jumbo shrimp salad and she liked it too. It is a fun place to go listen to old music and just relax. It is also very clean inside and has great service! We will go back again!

The service is always on point. One of our favorite places to come for date night. The service is always on point, as well as the food!

Overall experience was very good.. I had the Filet Minon special with stuffed seafood, it was delicious. Had the Spinach Salad which came with a vinaigrette dressing that was too spicy for me. If it was less spicy it would have been better. The stuffed mushrooms were good too. Overall experience was very good.

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, FOOD WAS EH, OKAY. Husband and I went for a Saturday night dinner - as soon as we arrived, we were coerced into getting a private dining room, which someone had mistakenly reserved for us but we had not requested. The staff made it sound like it was their error but we could have the room anyway. We ended up paying a fee for this room which we were never told about. We both got the seafood stuffed beef tenderloin special of the night. The meat was nicely done, but the "stuffing" was some kind of imitation crab/fish mush on the side of the dish, not stuffed, along with a piece of shrimp resting on top. The rest of the meal was just ok; ok salad, calamari appetizer came from frozen, wine was 4 oz, $7.00 a glass and it was a house wine, which the waitress wasn't even aware the house offered. The private dining room used to be a small coat room which they did do a nice job of doctoring up, but was extremely small and not very private, being located right next to the very loud bar and entertainment area. We got the bill, which already had 22% gratuity tacked on - and we were only a party of 2! We have never paid such a high price for dinner and 2 drinks - it was over $150!! NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN.

meat was very juicy. I had some great BBQ Ribs here. If you like ribs this is the place to go in the Wisconsin Dells area. The meat was very juicy and season just right. I really liked the sauce on the ribs

I would recommend this place. Was in the Wisconsin Dells area to visit a friend and decided to eat out dinner the first night i was there by myself and decided to come to the House of Embers. Was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the quarter bbq chicken as it was really good. I added the house salad and it wasn't too much to scream about and the cinnamon bun for an additional $0.49 isn't too bad of a deal. I would recommend this place for the bbq chicken

great place to go. People from Chicago are really saying that this place was expensive? I didn't think they were that high for a slightly upscale (for the Dells) restaurant. It was my birthday so I had the T-bone special. I thought it was good. It was seasoned well and it was a decent amount of food. My wife enjoyed her ribs and shrimp and also got a decent amount of food. The selections for the kids menu were good and varied. We were able to get a private room for just the 5 of us for only $10 extra. If you want a more upscale place than the usual pizza joints, this is a great place to go. I would come back.

Loved this place. Loved this place. Has maintained the midwest charm (plus some deliberately cool kitsch), outstanding food, both for adults and kids. Ribs were great, spinach salad and prime rib, yum!
