1st time posting a review

I have never posted a review, and after buying a bedroom set (including mattresses), living room additions, four rugs and multiple accessories from the absolute nicest lady in the world, I felt compelled to share my experience...and typically I only use Citysearch for restaurant recommendations. I had been searching all over Goldsboro for some things for our place. And I tell you....Jernigan Furniture is just the best. I love the store itself...so much to choose from, elegantly set up and just very inviting. Other stores in the area are OK, but just don't have the same level of professionalism and service I encountered on my recent visit. And the prices seemed fair with selection at both the low and high end. I bought a combination of things, and felt the sales lady could not have been more helpful in explaining why things cost more or less than others, what the advantages/disadvantages are like, etc. I really wish all businesses were run this way...and can't wait to go back! Thank you Jernigan Furniture!

BEST FURNITURE EAST OF RALEIGH

I recommend Jernigan Furniture not only because they have the best quality furniture in eastern NC, the atmosphere in their store is very welcoming. You never feel pressured to buy anything. And if you want good furniture you can understand why. Upon shopping around a few other stores no one compared in quality and the vultures were relentless. So I returned to Jernigan's and now own furniture that my kids will inherit when they grow up. I read another review on here that stated how expensive the furniture was. This individual must be accustomed to shopping at Furniture Fair or maybe even Sam's Club where the prices are great, but the furniture will last a few years at best before it begins to wear out. "You pay for what you get" at Jernigan Furniture. And that is furniture and service that is unrivaled in this region.

SHOP AROUND BEFORE BUYING HERE

This store is marked up two to three times more than any other store in eastern NC to Raleigh. I would recommend shopping around and compare prices. Plus when this store does deliveries they charge a fee to each person, for example four deliveries going to Kinston each person is charged the same fee. He is making a killing on fees. They start at $69.00. I would not ever send anyone I know to this store. Plus if anyone knows Sam. You will know why!!!!!!
