Lovely Sunday Brunch. I had read about Garden Brunch Cafe in The Scene when it first opened, and then a friend told me how great it was. It's been open for almost a year, and we just got around to going this morning, and I'm SO glad we did!

I read the other reviews, and I really hope they will give this place a chance again. Maybe they've worked out a few kinks, because our experience was great and we will definitely be going back!

First of all, they were the friendliest staff I've ever seen, and we got seated right away (although there were a few other groups there and it got busier while we were eating). The inside is really cool with an artsy vibe, which I love. The menu is nice and diverse. There's definitely something for the savory omelette lover, and also something for the carb freak (me). Ha!

I had the peach pancakes. Holy cow, they were delicious! My husband had the Germantown Benny, and our friends had an omelette and strawberry pancakes. The coffee was nice and strong, everyone loved their meals, and the presentation was lovely.

I will admit, the kitchen is a bit slow, but we were in no rush, so it didn't bother us.

I definitely recommend this place, particularly in a town that is lacking an abundance of good brunch choices. We had a good experience and plan to go back.

Hope you have a 3 hour lunch. small, but nice looking place but you really need a 3 hour lunch to eat here because the servers are not real servers and there must be one person in the kitchen. Ordered an omlette and buy the time it came to my table it could've been a chicken.

Has Potential but needs a General Manager. I keep trying this place because I want them to be good but after several trips I will not return. Firstly, we had reservations however when we got there they didn't know anything about it. The restaurant was not crowded however it took 20 min for us to be seated, and we ended up sitting in a room all alone. The waiter was very awkward, yet nice, but did not know the menu. It took forever for us to get our food. So long that while we were waiting the waiter came back and asked "is there anything I can get you?" "Duh... just our food!" When the food arrived the "Germantown Benny" was cold. This is the 2nd time I've ordered this and both times it was cold.

The first time I was there they forgot one of our orders all together and then brought it at the end of the meal. Oh well, nice try but they need someone to run this place before its run into the ground because of the terrible service.
