Don't use these crooks

Do yourselves a favor.. DONT USE THERE SERVICE..
They came up to do a chimney sweep. Then two days later I find the chimney cap sitting on my front lawn. "They broke the cap from the chimney " were the words from the person working there. They keep promising to come by and repair their work but I have had to chase them around for over 1 month now. They then tell you not to call them again.
This outfit deserves to go out of bussiness. It is absolutely shameful how they treat a customer. I have never been so verbally abused, but especially from a bussiness. I am beside myself with disbelief. These people are actually criminal.. they come to your house and cause damage and then they tell you to pay them to fix there damage.
- Pros: No Pros at all
- Cons: Read the details-these people are disgusting

Well we had our burner fixed in July and the chimney needed to be cleaned and they quoted 75.00 over the phone. The chimney repair guys came and said it needed to be totally repaired and the man quoted 1800.oo to fix all the problems and when he was done he said it would cost 2644.00 and said they would be back with a chimney cap which was on order. Here we are in october no chimney cap... well we called many times to see when the cap would be installed they promised to call us back still waiting,,,,, this company sucks...do yourself a favor don't call them. They have over 30 years experience baiting and switching...

Watch Out For These Crooks

Sweepys Chimney recently made my 86 Yr old mother the victim of a classic Bait and Switch scheme designed to glean money from the elderly and confused.
Sweepys Chimney phoned her a few weeks ago to say they were going to be in the area, and offered to clean her chimney for $70.00. When they arrived (a day late!) and realized she lived alone, they told her that the chimney was in serious dis-repair, and needed to be fixed. IMMEDIATELY! THAT DAY!...for $2,400.00. And they needed a bank check. Right away. My mom got nervous and confused. She wanted to "do the right thing". She was told it HAD to be fixed NOW. No suggestion of a second opinion. So she ran to the bank and took the money out of her limited savings.
By the way, she had no previous problems with her chimney and doesn't ever use her fireplace. My advice? Don't call them. Instead, call the Better Business Bureau, as I intend to. Right after I call my lawyer. There's GOT to be a law against behavior like this!!!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Very Slick
