Best party place in downton Erie!. Boardwalk is the best party place in Downtown Erie by far! Dont listen to the loosers leaving negitive reviews. They are the same people who got beat up every other day all through school. Boardwalk has great music, great drinks, and the cleanest crowd of all of the downtown dance places. Great Place to Hang Out. Drink are inexpensive and taste great. The bartenders are always willing to help you out if you want to try something new. I love the atmosphere of having 4 different venues under one roof. Neighborhood corner bar, dance club, Ultra Lounge and outdoor bar and grill. World class DJs every weekend, the area's top bands during the summer and lots of cool people make this a great place to hang out.

Great Atmosphere, Inexpensive Drinks. Was in town this past weekend for the first time in about 9 months and a group of friends and I decided to stop in for some drinks. Whenever I come back to Erie, I am still shocked on how inexpensive it is to go out for a night. Friday was no different....Yes, a $3 cover at the door...big deal. I agree with the last post if you can't afford $3 to get in somewhere, don't go out. I would have paid $5-10 to get into the complex. It has three distinct atmospheres and really can suit any group of people.

Being from a big city with astronomical drink prices, this was like a gift from above for me. At one point I had ordered 7 red bull and vodkas & 7 jack and cokes, this was around 11:55 right before the special of 1/2 liquor ended. The bartender was not a prick about it, just made the drinks (strong, I may add) and said that will be $30...I had to do a double take, he replied $30. I gave him $40 and told him thanks.

Don't take my story for being a high roller, but from what I'm used to that order would have been close to $100. The staff is friendly, courteous and surprisingly catering (especially to a group of guys), when the night club industry caters towards females.

The Best Place in Erie hands Down. It's funny to hear (Joel) say that the drinks are watered down and it's a dump. That's kind of hard to do when you watch them crack a fresh 1.75 liter, remove the insert and put it right on the wall to be plumbed to the PLCB approved liquor dispensing system. Apparently this Joel character works at bar that is competition. The dates of his posts are all Memorial day weekend where the Boardwalk Complex opens their HUGE outside patio, "Coconut Joe's" for the summer. Coconut Joe's pretty much shuts the rest of the city down. Oh and they only charge a $3 cover charge on Friday's and Saturdays after 10pm. If you can't afford $3 then you probably shouldn't be out. That $3 keeps the garbage like Joel out. This bar is also the most legit in Erie. Their staff is the best, they don't play unethical bar games by slamming their competition like some people .. cough cough Joel. (By the way, learn how to spell.) They are the most technically advanced entertainment complex in Erie. 5 LCD's, 4 Plasma's, 3 Projectors, and an easy $100000 in Lighting and Audio. Stop down and see for yourself. If the $3 cover bothers you, come down at 9:45pm and get in free. Enough said.

absolutely gross. This bar is obviously out for the quick buck. They charge a steep cover. Their drinks are all watered down. The goons at the door are all on steroids. They try to impress the few girls (i counted 3 ugly ones) by harassing the male patrons. The food is terrible. I will never go back or recommend this hole in the wall to anyone. There is an overwhelming smell that permeates throughout the bar.
