I was so impressed with how wonderfully the doctor took care of my dog. The place is great, the dogs are happy when they come in. It's very comfortable there. I live out of the area and wish I didn't live so far away as I would come here all of the time for the care of my pets.

Dr Valese is top notch & very knowledgable. The care they provide is excellent, everyone there is very friendly and know what they are talking about. They always give us the time needed to go over any instructions regarding medications or home care for my dog Sargent. Their facility is amazing and very clean. I'm so impressed with everything they do. I know your dog would have the best care if you went to the Animal Hospital of Mt Pocono.

I bring my pets to Dr. Valese because the office is clean from the parking lot to the exam rooms. The front desk is organized and the girls are always patient and friendly. All questions are always answered and all phone messages returned. My pets’ complete medical history is in the computer and their pictures on all medication. There is always a follow-up phone call to check on my pets’ recovery and any reaction to their medication. I have peace of mind when I have to leave my pets because I know they are carefully watched.

Dr. Valese seems competent and provides reasonable care but he is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!! Almost twice the price of our current competent vet, Dr. Miller of Pocono Lake. Our most recent mailing for Dr. Valese is a self-serving scare letter titled "Consumer Alert" that warns against buying medications from sources other than him. I understand that veterinarians are in business but in an area where there are few choices, he is exploiting pet owners.

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Valese for well over 20 years. I now have a German Sheppard and two cats. Dr. Valese is very thorough and caring during the examination of my animals. When a problem is found he takes the time to explain everything that has to be done to correct the condition. His concern for all animals is truly genuine.

When my cat Skippy became very ill, Dr. Valese diagnosed the problem immediately and put him on intravenous feeding. He allowed me to visit Skippy every day and as he got better I was allowed to bring him his favorite food. No matter what time of day I went to the office Dr. Valese and his staff always had encouraging words.

Dr. Valese is also one of the best animal dentists around. He had cleaned my cats’ teeth, extracted a few and also fixed one of my Sheppard’s teeth. Before doing the procedure Dr. Valese explained in detail what would be done and assured me that all would go well.

I board my animals there knowing they will have the best possible care. How do I know this? When I bring my Sheppard to his office, she jumps out of the car and goes right to the door waiting to go in to greet his excellent staff.

Having seen many Veterinarians, Dr. Valese is the only Veterinarian that had an open house. He invited me and many others to go to his office and show us all the facilities. He explained all the different equipment and operations going on beyond the waiting room. He then asked if we had any questions which he answered in a very informative manner. All present were very impressed with all the up-to-date equipment and how clean every thing was from the operating room to the animal pens. You can see this upon entering the waiting room that this practice is still enforced.

If you are ill, would you go to any doctor? You would want the best. The same goes for our four legged family members. That is why I take my pets to the best, Dr. Valese of the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono.

From the moment we brought our dog in for a checkup, Dr. Valese was focused totally on her. It was as though he and the dog were having a conversation. Dr. Valese was compassionate and completely in charge. Our dog sensed this and behaved accordingly. The results of Dr. Valese’s treatment of our dog’s allergies exceeded our expectations. He kept in contact with us about her progress; he proposed possible solutions. It seems like we have gotten our dog back; she appears comfortable, like her former self. We are very grateful. Our dog is very responsive to Dr. Valese’s staff. She wags her tail widly to greet them. We are well satisfied with the TLC she receives when we board her with them. Knowing that Dr. Valese and his staff are there for our dog gives us great peace of mind.

I think Dr Valese is fabulous. His attention to detail is great and the level of care he provides is outstanding. Everyone there at the animal hospital of mt pocono is very friendly. The hospital is always nice and clean and never smells like animals. They know me and my cats by name there, we are not just a number. They take the time to know their patients & owners and make you feel special.

Dr. Valese, and every member of his staff, treats my dogs as if they were the only pets that mattered. They treat me with kindness and understanding, and I know my dogs are receiving the finest and most up to date veterinary care possible. When I leave my dogs for boarding I know they are well cared for, and get all the affection they need.

When my husband and I moved here from New York, one of our biggest concerns was finding good care for Brandi. She has been with us over 13 years and she is more than a pet to us. We found exactly what we were looking for with the Animal Hospital of Mount Pocono.

Dr. Valese is a wonderful veterinarian, completely devoted to all his patients. The doctor and his entire staff treat your pet as if it were a very special part of their own families. I would recommend the Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono to anyone who wants the very best care for their pets.

Dr Valese is great & very informative. His entire staf is so nice & helpful. The hospital is a very nice & clean place. I love the decorations. I'm really impressed with how well my Scooby is taken care of and how nice they are to me. For me it's the best place to take your pet for care. You will love the staff.
