The Scene – With so many resorts in the area, it's nice to be able to boast a superlative that actually means something ... this is Palm Springs' biggest meeting and conventions resort. Eight, low-rise, Spanish-style complexes are set amid 24 acres of artificially lush desert landscaping. While this may seem like an optimum resort experience, individual travelers should keep in mind that this hotel's forte is large group travel. – – The Details – The 50,000 square-feet of meeting space bodes well for turbo conferences, but all work and no play makes Jack a dulla boy.…

The hotel is amazing!

by AnEv267

The hotel is amazing! WAY better than the Viceroy PS, AND i LOVE the viceroy.

The employees are great, the decor is gorgeous and it's spacious and impeccable from the floors to the ceiling.

I love how pic the pool is and there is a waitress always asking if we need anything.

I loved my stay, especially in the suite I had. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom felt like home.

I guess all it needed was a towel warmer.

If you're going to go to PS, the Riviera is the place to stay. Although I went on a weekday. Haven't been on a weekend and I'm sure it'll be crowded but getting there on wed was perfect for me since I don't like crowds.

Overall I was extremely satisfied

by katharinemudrick

I've never been to Palm Springs til this weekend. The Riviera resort was not a hotel recommended to me but found it by choice. When I got here it I was blown away by the 50s look to it! The bell hop was so friendly and quickly gave us advise on places to eat!

After we settled in we walked around to check the resort out. The pool was awesome! I felt like I was staying at a luxury hotel in Vegas. The waitresses are very friendly. The gym is located by the pool and has state of the art equipment for those of you that can't live without the gym even for a weekend (I'm guilty of that). The spa looks amazing as well however we did not go inside.

The poolside food is good but a little pricey. You can't bring outside drinks inside the pool area which can get pricey web each drink is about $7 for a small drink and $5 for a beer.

Overall I was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again! It was a first great experience in Palm Spring!

The lounge is a Great place.

by PSCA

The lounge is a Great place. Has balcony with extra comfy seating but most importantly the screen doors were propped open, so it didn't get too hot or smoky. Bartender was extremely friendly. She brought a drink to my hubby on her and when I was done with my drinks, she got me a glass of water without my asking. I have to add we got lucky and sat right at the bar the first part of the night. DJ JCEE had great dance music. My husband joked that he must have my iPod. Great atmosphere. There were two bachelorette parties. Everyone was enjoying themselves. We are staying at this hotel, so, all we had to do was walk downstairs.
