wow. sick to my stomach to find out how bad i was ripped off. I guess the other reviewers have no knowledge of locks at all on here. at first I went to home depot bought locks and had them re-keyed. I had some issues with the handle locks not working properly when I got them home and I knew it was the re keying that was the issue. Since i purchased quite a few i did not want to wait another hr at HD for them to be re-keyed and checked so i just returned them. i wanted to go with a lock smith because I had figured i would get a better quality product rather than big box store quality. As with plumbing supply, or electrical supply houses usually have a better quality product since they don't have to meet a quota on price per unit and don't require cheaper internals like your home depot or lowes. Nope not here, after my locks were installed and i was given my bill i almost s*it myself. i found out these are the same locks home depot sells for 35 and i was charged 140! home depot charges 5 to have them rekeyed and Roys charges 65 PER UNIT. partly my fault for not better inspecting the lock and speaking up before they were installed but for a company to charged 4x the price for the same big box store lock is absurd and 65 to rekey each unit is insane. im am so mad at myself for even allowing this happen as this is my first house and major reno money is not on my side and every penny is needed. installing door locks is a synch and again the only reason i came here was for what i hoped would be a better quality lock. On top of all this I still had to go to HD and purchase the handles which I installed myself, because I was not going to pay $40 or whatever for cheapo kwikset knobs that didn’t even match the bolts. I would have waited all day at HD to have my old locks rekeyed if I knew I was going to screwed as bad as I did. STAY AWAY

I have been having trouble with my front door lock. Seems to me that it kept on getting jammed so I called Roy's Locksmith Service so they could replace the lock and install a new one for me. When the tech arrived, he looked at the lock and told me he could fix it, instead of installing a new lock and charging me. He was very nice and honest, helped me save a lot of money. Thanks so much. After he fixed it, it worked perfectly fine!

Every time I call Roy's Locksmith Service they provide me with some serious customer service. There locksmiths are always on time and ready to work and they always know how to solve any problem I have. There number one in the area in my opinion.
