Best Birthday ever.
I wanted to get a whole new look for my birthday and my friend told me to try this little hole in the wall. I called for an appointment and was able to see someone the next day. My appointment was with jenna. When I got there I could see what my friend was saying about hole in the wall. the door is tiny. But when I walked in the place was huge, I don't know how they did it. And beautiful.
Jeenna was the owner and took me right away, she was so sweet and we had a consultation about what I wanted for my hair. She listened to me and then gave me a couple of ideas I would not have even thought of.
Her staff were very professional and when she gave me off to someone else for sometthing I felt very confident. She ended up changing my color, doing alot of hilites and an amazing cut. I love it. I'm going back.
I will be the the Belle of my ball on my birthday.

Not too pleased....
My eyebrows are crooked. When I mentioned this to the owner/waxer she played it off like she was doing me a favor. Kinda angry, but I only payed $5. Although, they were having a half off special doesn't mean she had to do a half-ass job on my eyebrows.
Not recommended, spend extra money and go elsewhere. Your gonna look like a clown if not

Unbelievable hair coloring and foiling!. I have been going to this salon for over a year because of the high quality of the work. The owner, Gena, has done an amazing job of gradually highlighting my hair. My natural dark brown hair is now a golden blonde that is completely natural looking. Even better,it lasts for over two months because of the careful coloring work. I love this place! Definitely make an appointment if you want quality hair-coloring by serious professionals.

Gentiana is amazing!!.
I found Gentiana after moving here a couple years ago. Ladies you know how we are with finding the right hairstylist. Unsure of where to go I used referrals and got one disaster after another. Working on Boylston St. in Boston I even went to some of the most well-known, best reputation places in Back Bay. No luck.
Once I found Gentiana's I can honestly say she is the best hairstylist I have ever had anywhere!! I have lived in many different states and work in the Salon & Spa Industry. I have been in this industry for 11 years and know without a doubt you get what you pay for. She is the first person I trust completely. I dont even tell her what I want (and its not always the same) and she just knows. She gets it!! Having been her client for only a short period of time that is unbelievable!
Her passion and skill is evident and she's a sweetie!!

Fantastic Experience and Full On Customer Service.
A completely fantastic experience!!! I have been to a number of salons and after five years, have finally found a salon with everything I need. After a full hair makeover with Jenna, I am thrilled with Gentiana. Had a great cut and color, strong consultation, and felt totally appreciated for the service. Had a Pedi while sitting. Wonderful staff at every level from check in through check out.

Strangers for massage, cheep groupon users=volume overload.
I went to Peabody and thougth I would try this new salon for a day away from the kids. It turned into a horrible experience.
The owner was calling people off craigslist to come in and do massages and the person who did mine had come in off the street via craigslist that day.
And my mani peeled like paint that very day after my nailes being sawed at for a very quick mani..
Oh...I had to wait forever and track down the massage therapist and mani person. NIGHTMARE.
They seem to run their business on low cost volume from Groupon and you get lame service. Guess you get what you pay for.

I would like to respond to this by saying that, yes we do advertise on Craigslist for new Massage therapists. As many other top salons do. and the therapist that you received was a Licensed, professional therapist and everyone has a first day of work. We have three massage therapists on staff. and Gesenia, who is the one you are speaking of has been with us for 6 months and is one of the best therapists around as per all of her repeat clients. This person had to have been here 6 months ago and is just now writing a review. We do not ever give LAME services and we guarantee all of our services 100%. We are here to give exceptional service to our clients and
offering our services on Groupon once in a while is a way to get new people to try our services.

Literally the WORST manicure of my life.
I came here in October for a mani and pedi with my sister before her wedding. My sister got in and out in a reasonable amount of time (we came and started at the same time, she left 45 minutes before me). The pedicure wasn't so bad, a bit time consuming with none of the extras but the manicure was beyond horrible. My cuticles were not cut, no lotion, no massage, what took so much time was with EVERY stroke of nail polish, clear coats included, the technician dipped her stick in acetone and wiped around my entire nail. I kept explaining to her we really needed to hurry as I had about one hundred other things to do for the day but she just kept going with the acetone. My boyfriend thought it was hilarious, I on the other hand was not so amused. The polish didn't last more than a couple days due to the extreme amount of acetone that was underneath it, and my cuticles were so dry they were red and bleeding for the wedding. The price was alright, and my sisters mani and pedi came out just fine but I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a mani/pedi based off my experience!
I will also add, the guy who did my sister's mani and pedi was awesome! He was really nice, funny, and did a good job on her nails. He even gave her hairstyle advice for the wedding (she was panicking about the curly style she had previously picked) and she did the hairstyle he suggested and LOVED it! Had I used this guy, I would give this place 5 stars.....

My hair is so straight.
First off, I want to say that I have Italian hair that looks like a Brillo pad. I have read about keratin treatments and have been interested in getting one done. I waited and did a little research and this salon kept coming up.
They had good reviews so I called. They were very knowledgable about the procedure and very nice so I made an appointment. Went to get it done. I was nervous about this. The girl Steph did it for me and it came out unreal. I love it so much, my hair feels so soft and NO FRIZZ. Yay Steph.

I'm like jello.
I got a massage gift certificate from my girlfriend and had a hard day at work and just needed to unwind. I stopped in and they had a cancellation so I was lucky.
The girl was strong.It was out of this world. I felt like a new man.
I bought the 3 pack and will be back
