Tips for Gulfstream Cafe

Had my first experience at Lenox Grill for a friend's birthday dinner...while dinner was ok - the table was shocked to find that our cocktails were $17-18 each - WHEN THE BILL CAME!! Dont get me wrong, I like French Connections and drink them frequently while out for the evening... While I admit that I like speciality cocktails and frequent much higher end restaurants, we were all appalled that 1) the restaurant charges for each component and 2) that no one - not the server, bar attendent, or manager mention this at any time while drinks are ordered!!! Additionally, when we asked to speak to the manager privately - the duty manager's response was basically "too bad that's what these cost". A lovely response by a customer service "professional" to a (high paying) patron - whoever said customer service was dead, didnt lie. He then gave me the managers card and said that I should contact him...The truth is while I've ordered this same drink at much higher end restaurants (Buckhead Diner, Prime, Oceanaire, etc) I've never paid these prices. For 6 drinks (for 2 ppl), I paid $100 alone in addition to my $21 meal!! Needless to say, I wont be back...

The cornbread was amazing, as was the fried catfish and macaroni and cheese. Worth every penny spent!

Sitting on the patio watching the world go by!. A group of us went Sunday to eat and watch some football and we had a great time! The drinks are $1.95! They had an amazing buffet for brunch at under $20! The food was varied and delicious and plenty to be had. The service was friendly and very happy to wait on us! Nice! The patio is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Fun afternoon great drinks and great service

Affordable in Buckhead. This is not the first time we have visited Lenox Square Grill! But, this is the best visit that we have had! The menu has added a killer dog -hot Dog loaded with goodies!! I love hot dogs this one is great! My friend had the BBQ Chicken- it is amazing the skin is crispy and has spicey sauce on top!! We both loved our choices! The service was better than we had last time and the servers we bustling about it was busy at lunch but, we didnt wait long for our food! A Manager came to the table and was really interested in how our food and service was. We will be back for happy hour and the $1.95 drinks! Good choice for lunch meetings and affordable.

Lenox Square provides a great mix of restaurants. I usually don't go in for malls, but Lenox Square provides a great mix of restaurants, specialty shops and tech stores. In this age of online shopping, its nice to find a quality mall like this.

Moldy bread. Usually the food is good and reasonable with adequate service. Yesterday, I ordered the French dip sandwich which was served on very moldy bread. One of my dining companions ordered a medium hamburger which was served very well done. Waiter at next table dropped a glass of wine which spilled on all three guys at the table.

Nice mall, horrible parking. Lenox is a staple of Atlanta. It has an excellent variety of shops, good food...the parking is horrible, though. On weekends, expect at least a 20 minute drive around the mall to find a spot. Overall, a good mall, though.

Impressed. My company just moved across the street from Lenox Mall. We are always in the market for a cool new place to eat as a group. We are all very picky eaters because we get a lot of catering from good places so we like good food.

Today, there were four of us to represent our group. All four of us were very happy with our food choices and thought that the service was great too. We all agreed to bring the others to try it and will definitely go back.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the beautiful spring weather....that made our lunch experience even more enjoyable. Thanks Lenox Grill!

Lenox Grill is not the worst dining experience you can have.. Lenox Square Grill looks like a chain, and like a chain, it had uninspired cuisine. Generally, when I am eating my uninspired cuisine at a chain restaurant, I can at least look at all the license plates, fake old pictures, and various farming implements that have been attached at the wall.

But not at Lenox Square Grill. They make up for it by having their menu produced by Rand McNally. It is huge. I recommend ordering your meal at the same time as drinks, or you will spill your drinks when you open the menu. It is practically unavoidable.

The food is fine. I had the BBQ Beef Sandwich for $9. $9 worth of BBQ should be plate covering, but they take the opposite approach to the plate versus the menu and give you less than you'd expect. I asked for "the most healthy side you have" and the server offered the corn soufflé or the green beans. The best part of those was the nostalgia of my 5th elementary school cafeteria they brought with them.

So if you have to go to Crate & Barrel, I won't judge you for eating here.

Super affordable comfort food in a surprising Lenox address.. While the sign and Lenox Mall location immediately give off a chain feeling, the brick facade and warm wood undertones make the interior surprisingly more cozy than commercial. But when you consider the location, the true highlight of this Southern influenced restaurant is the price. Jaw-droppingly low ticket prices and massive portions will leave restaurateurs, economists and accountants trying to figure out how this can be. Ribeye and catfish entrees clock in under $12, burgers are $5 and a bowl of chili is $4. The signature dish is a macaroni and cheese skillet, dished in twelve custom creations, or fully customizable with your choice of ingredients ranging from ham to broccoli to buffalo chicken. The only accompaniment is a slice of icebox pie. How fitting.
