Excellent experience

I recently had a sump pump and "french drain" system installed by Connecticut Basement Systems. Since we live on the harbor across from Long Island Sound, we knew it was a risk not to have modern basement protection.

The town of Rye, New York is essentially a giant sponge and every property here has water issues at some point. Our home is 110 years old and has a classic, hand-built stone foundation. Over the years, our home has never seen water in it's basement, but during Hurricane Irene we had three inches from ground water naturally rising from the earth — a common, yet unwelcome event.

I'm writing to express how pleased we were with Connecticut Basement Systems. The results were impressive and the whole process was unbelievably easy. I feared the installation would be disruptive, messy and chaotic. Instead, it was a clean, controlled process that was incredibly smooth and efficient. Plus, the crew was experienced with older "classic" New England homes and the unique needs of their older construction.

I'd like to specifically salute the sales rep, Mr. Bill Anderson. He was knowledgeable, upbeat and very patient with all my newbie questions. Bill spent three hours with us explaining the work to me in advance with exquisite detail. I was impressed by the fact that he arrived fully prepared and used high tech solutions such as a laser measure to examine the status of our basement floor. He patiently sat with me and "designed" the system for us on his laptop with complete precision. The best value Connecticut Basement Systems provided was removing the mystery and fear I had. Bill was a total pro.

On day of installation, Noel and Martine (I believe that was their names) did the job. They were prompt and courteous. I was very impressed by their professionalism and they should be commended. They did clean, smart, accurate work in record time. The next day, the electrician, Mr. William Stocker arrived ahead of schedule and did an awesome job wiring things up. He was a huge help as well.

The whole installation was a breeze and added value to our home. And peace of mind. I highly recommend Connecticut Basement Systems. I'm really grateful for everyone involved.

CT Basement Systems- Outstanding

This experience was the best thing to happen to this house in 50 years, because that's how long we tolerated a wet and/or flooded basement, until we finally had your company come in to 'fix' it. From the knowledgeable salesman who showed up right on schedule and provided the cost estimate on-the-spot, to the guys who came in to do the work, in an amazing 6 hour time-frame, I have nothing but good things to say. I would recommend to anyone, anywhere that the Triple-Safe system from CT Basement Systems is the one to go with. Yesterday we had a power outage, and the backup battery kicked right in and took over, so that no flooding would occur as it poured outdoors. Now if there was a way to land a job with you in an office/customer service position, I'd be even happier, because I'd be representing a company that I could not only speak highly of, I now own your product and could speak with 1st hand knowledge. Thank you Basement Systems for a job well done.

Excellent Work in a very wet basement.

Basement Systems installed a full perimeter drain in the basement of my 1886 home and we finally have a basement that we can use for storage. The installation was perfomed in a very professional matter and the work was first-rate. The people at the company were all a pleasure to deal with and extremely friendly and professional. In addition, since I had a stone basement that allowed water to flow through quite freely, it was a difficult job. I have had the company return on three occasions for some issues and they were extremely prompt and courteous about returning and making sure that I was happy. I feel that if I have any further problems, they will be at my door immediately to fix them. This is an excellent company to work with and their work is highly recommended.

• Pros: Very courteous and professional team. Excellent workmanship.
• Cons: Had to return due to some issues, but the company was extremely responsive.

Great basement waterproofing company

My basement used to leak. I had to keep the carpet folded back. Had to run a dehumidifier right in the corner where it leaked. It was totally depressing.

Although I had put off spending the money to fix it for a long time, I could kick myself for not have doing it sooner. Basement Systems had the nicest people and the basement is dry. I highly recommend this company.
