Eat At Joe's. Family owned and operated, Joe's has been in Lufkin for quite a few years and changed locations a few times but is now in a good location at the Lufkin Mall (not accessable from inside the mall, but just right outside a mall entrance). Joe's has a decent menu but most of the options are rather similar to one another sharing sauces or simply different meats or veg. The food is good but don't expect Olive Garden. The prices are reasonable the simple Italian dishes are very good. I like the Pizza, Calzone and the Lasagna. If i am going to get a pasta disth I usually go for the Chicken Aristokrat.

(The owners are actually Armenian and in the US as political refugees, just a litte trivia).
