the worst food ever - really burnt crisp. The first visit everything was very good - however - when we returned for another dinner - everything was burned - we asked if all the food was this "crisp" and were told yes. We are never going back for burnt food - there are too many good restaurants to go to rather than spend money on this awful food.

KFC is better!

One of the Gulf Coast's Best!. I used to make it a point to visit Aunt Jenny's whenever I was in town. They have the best shrimp and catfish I have ever tasted. I have never ordered anything but Aunt Jenny's combo, and I honestly never intend to. It's that good. Pair it with their homemade tarter sauce, and some Southern Pecan beer and you have a great meal.

If I were forced to complain, I would say that the tables are in need of replacement. They are wobbly and the finish has softened. You could stick your fingernail into it. Also, it can get a bit greasy, which can get you a few hours after.

These two minor issues will not deter me from getting more shrimp and catfish from Aunt Jenny's.

Aunt Jenny's=Delicious. I recently ate at Aunt Jenny's and it was an overall excellent dining experience. Ten of us walked up without reservations and were seated promptly. The service was very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food thoroughly, especially the catfish. As for myself, I had a shrimp creole and it was fantastic. I have no complaints and will certainly visit again. Also the view you can't beat. Go get a good seat by the window as the sun sets...the time will slip by.

Could Not Pay Me To Go Back!. Many years ago whenever Aunt Jenny's opened, the food was fantastic. It provides a quaint and comfortable atmosphere; however, the quality of food has dropped to far below average. Aunt Jenny's does not represent the typical quality of seafood served at Mississippi Gulf Coast restaurants. Our more recent experience at Aunt Jenny's approximately one year ago was a total disappointment and ultimate waste of time and money. Great location; management should make assertive efforts toward restoring their original quality and reputation. I would NOT recommend this establishment.
