Disappointed customer. My husband and I go to Red Robin at Bridge Street ONLY because our three little boys LOVE it. But the service and upkeep of this restaurant are horrible!!! Of all the restaurants we go to, it's the worst by far. I honestly don't think they will be around much longer if they don't make some improvements.

First of all, the women's restroom is always messed up - you can count on that. One of the two sinks in the women's restroom doesn't work, and the manager knows (I told her myself). There was one time that NEITHER sink worked! The countertop in the women's room is also broken. It's all been like this for quite some time. The one sink has been inoperable for over a year, I know. Before that, when it did work it would only put out scalding hot water. I complained to the manager about all of this, and her excuse was "it's hard to get a plumber to come out here." She said the countertop was broken because someone let their child stand up on it. You'd think that would have been promptly repaired, but it's also been broken for months.

My second complaint is that the service is almost always unbearably slow, even when it's not very crowded. I will give credit that there were two times when I was in a real hurry and I let the waiter know. To his credit, the service was fast on those two occasions. Maybe I just always need to tell the waiter we're in a hurry?

Third complaint is that almost every time we go the order gets slightly messed up. They'll forget one of the kids' sides or bring me the wrong drink.

Fourth complaint is that, despite the fact that they cater to children and have beautiful color paper placemats/activity sheets for the kids, on several occassions we've gone and they don't give the kids any crayons! We'll ask, and the waiter says that they have run out. How can they run out of crayons?!! Sounds like very poor planning by the manager to me. There's no crayon shortage in Huntsville that I know of. So then we have to wait for what seems like forever with our kids without them being able to color and work the puzzles and mazes on the activity sheets.

Fifth complaint is that many of the tables are wobbly, which can be incredibly annoying!

I am usually not hard to please at restaurants. I almost NEVER complain, but this restaurant has been so bad that on two different occasions I asked to see a manager. Each time they were extremely apologetic. I told them I didn't want my meal comp'd or anything like that, I just wanted to see the restaurant conditions get better. That was months ago, yet most of the above problems still exist. The only exception might be the crayons. The last time we went it actually looked like someone had made a run to the nearby Toys R Us to get some crayons.

The one positive thing I can say is that, despite all the hassles and the perpetual state of disarray in the women's restroom, the food is usually pretty good. My kids usually eat really well there. If that were not the case we would not still go occasionally.
