T.J's has the Best Pizza in the Midwest!. T.J. Finnegan's has won several National awards for having the best pizza, they advertise it as Fabulous WoodFired Pizza, and it lives up to its billing. According to the awards posted on the walls of the Pub TJ's won the "Best Pizza in the Midwest" in a contest titled The Best of the Midwest Pizza Contest, held at the Navy Pier in Chicago. They also won the grand prize and the title Pizza of the Year 2002, in the International Pizza Festiva held in Las Vegas. They have been named one of the Hot 100 Pizza Restaurants in both 2003 and 2004.

They have without a doubt the coldest tap beer in Mankato, they serve both a 16 ounce and 24ounce frosty mug but the real chill to the beer comes from a super chiller that takes the beer down to ten degrees at the tap head resulting in ice crystals in the beer.

Late night it attracts a young crowd for Mainstream and Club DJ music for dancing, a great bar to meet and mingle in several differrent areas from loud enough to shout, to easy to talk in.

Great drink specials, fun and attractive employees, and they sell pizza by the slice after 10pm.

T.J's is located in the downtown entertainment district, eleven bars within just a few blocks, close to the Civic Center and they have a large parking lot right behind their building.

T.J.'s has been in business 29 years and just keeps getting better every year, when colege is in session you'll find the dance floor full of fun loving students and an energy in the air unsurpassed by any club in the area.

In September, don't miss the Bar Muda Triangle Block Party it is held in the street in front of T.J.'s, it is a Welcome Back Students Party, usually four or five bands, tap beer sold from beer wagons in the street, dancing and good times a real "don't miss it event".…
