The best!

I love Mario's Place! First time I went was Valentine's a few years back. We had such a romantic evening. The appatizer was prosciutto with basil and asiago. I had ostrich for my entree. It was AWESOME! It was like filet mignon, but better. It was place in celery puree, surrounded by a cherry glaze (or maybe a balsamic reduction?), dried cherries, and sage. So so yummy. The wine was great, the dessert was great, Mario's Place is always a restaurant I recommend to friends and my customers (I presently work at Cafe Nordstrom). I have since gone back, and experienced the same amazing ambiance, food, and service as I did the first time :)
- Pros: Everything! Ambience, food, service...everything :)
- Cons: Nothing.
Good, but not for Me

My husband and I were looking for a nice place to dine to celebrate an accomplishment. After asking around, people mentioned Mario's. We really enjoyed the ambiance. The night that we went, there was even live music. And, the service was wonderful - so friendly.
The food was good. But, the portion sizes were small and it was on the pricey side - which is to be expected. While I enjoyed it, I don't think I would go here again. There are much better places around (i.e., The Mission Inn). But,I would still recommend to people who are in the mood for the whole expereince
- Pros: Awesome ambience. Great service. Romantic.
- Cons: Small portions. Pricey.

We spent the weekend in Riverside for a soccer tournament. Aside from the Mission Inn we didn't get our hopes up for anything interesting. We were happen to have walked across the street to Mario's Place for one of the best and most creative Italian meals ever!
