The Scene – Located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, this ski area is a unit of Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Porcupine Mountains is smaller than some of its neighbors, but skiers have been visiting its slopes since 1940: Porcupine was one of the first alpine areas developed in the Midwest.
