They have built four systems for me and Josh has taken the time on each occasion to select the components that will give me the system I want and need. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. Went in to get some new RAM. Showed a photo of what I needed and the specification it had to fit. Sold me the DDR3 instead of DDR2 so I had to go back and exchange it. Went home to install and it wouldn't work. A REAL computer professional explained to me that they sold me the wrong item for my computer and anyone who actually knew what they were doing would know that. Ended up having to go to the store 3 times in 1 hour and it cost me $10 because of a restocking fee. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!…
Why wait?.
Went to another place to have my computer looked at. I kept being told to wait. Don't know what they were in the middle of but I didn't see any people around and didn't have a lot of time to wait
around so I left. I called back later and got transferred to the tech department but whoever was there put me on hold. When another person picked up the line to check on me, I kept being put on hold. What a sucky way to get a customer.
Went to World of CD-ROM yesterday and when I came in I was greeted and asked if I there was anything I was looking for or needed. I asked my questions and they answered and addressed my concerns right there. Bought the part they recommended and put it in when I got home - everything works great. Thanks guys!!!…
Made Internet Setup Simple. My grandmother just moved to the area to be closer to the family. We had bought her a computer so she could have email but we needed help getting her internet set up. SBC left her really confused when she got her router, but World of CD-ROM simplified everything for her. They sent someone out to come to her house to set everything up and even called into SBC for her and got everything activated. The guy that came out was very polite and patient with her questions. We were so grateful for World of Cd-roms help and recommend them to anyone.…
Considerate to Students. Near the end of my semester my laptop went on the fritz. My roommate told me about this computer place and I drive by it all the time so I brought it in. They asked about my situation since I was a student, if I had another computer to work from and I didn't. They offered a laptop rental for as long as my laptop was in service so I could keep working on my school stuff. What a lifesaver! Turned out I had some trojan viruses and spyware and they cleaned it up, my laptop works so much better now and I was so grateful not to be without during school.…
