Owosso >Pinecrest Animal Hospital
Dr. Rangi is the best vet I've seen since I've owned pets. My dogs are all healthy because of Pinecrest Animal Hospital, and they have worked with me on many injuries, surgeries, illnesses, and end of life care. I do not understand the two bad reviews, and recommend you ignore them. Dr. Rangi and his staff truly care for our companion canines.
Dr. Rangi Is The BEST!. Dr. Rangi has always taken very good care of our babies. My little one does not shake and get upset when we go here, and he always gets his nails clipped (which he hates) but the girls treat him the same as I do. When we got our new pup they gave us a puppy package and made sure we knew to call if we had any problems or questions. I never feel rushed, they are happy to discuss any of your pet concerns.
Top Notch Facility. Great Facility, Great Doctor, Highly recommend.
I will never go to Pinecrest again! (Please read).
Yesterday was my 20th birthday. I woke up around 5am to notice that my dog Buddy was unable to walk. I called Pinecrest as he needed to be seen right away. Of course, I got the answering service, as the office was not open. The women told me she would try and contact the vet. I awaited her call and received nothing. I called and asked her if she had heard anything from the vet a total of 7 times!!!!! She was clueless as to where he was. I finally decided I was going to head toward the emergency clinic in Flint and hoped she would soon call me with some good news. She was not able to tell me if he was available.
My dog's name was Buddy and he was the biggest sweet heart. He followed my sister and I everywhere! If we left the house and did not take him, he would stand at our front door and bark, He was an amazing dog.
On our way to the vet Buddy became much worse. He died on the way to Flint in front of me, my mother, and 12 year old sister. It was traumatic. It was not a pleasant death either. I tried to keep him alive, but I was unable to.
I will NEVER go to Pinecrest again. If I did not receive the run around from their answering service my dog Buddy may still be alive. He would have got the help in time. It is the job of the answering service to know what the vet is doing at all times. I later found out (from the vets office) that the vet was driving to the airport at the same time my dog needed help. The women who answered my call should have known that, and she should have been able to tell me the first time I called.
Changes for the Worse. I have been going to Pinecrest for many years, and to my dismay I will not be returning. The doctor that saw my pet, was completely unsure about what she was doing, it made me feel very uncomfortable and worried. I'm not sure if this doctor received proper training, but one thing is certain I will never see this foreigner again! If you would like to receive proper and knowledgeable medical advice, I would recommend you go some place else.
